It all started by someone requesting a toaster. I was eager to draw one, because I hadn’t any in my game. But you begin to know me, right? One toster became two, because, even if I like the look of the big american toaster, I also wanted a more frenchy one. So, I meshed the toaster I have in my kitchen. Also, I was missing a coffee machine with a jug, so I made one. Plus a kettle. And an electric one too, just because. Plus toasts to go with the toasters… and here we go, I ended up with a tiny set called “Good morning!” ;)
Pfff, I think it’s now safe to say Around the Sims 3 is back online!
Thank you for your patience & hugs! ;)
Around the Sims 3 is down for maintenance, and hopefully, it will be the last time before a loooooong time!!! (geeez, I had managed to spend 14 years online with very few down times, but this month is the worst of all!!! *facepalm* I’m sorry for this!)
Sandy Valley citizens have been a bit traumatized by all the changes implied by the Against-Plan Crash, so, to change everyone’s mind, a trip has been organized for the primary school kids to that new town I’m building, Rocheplate-sur-Ydnas. Guess what the first lot I built? A fun park, called La Vogue, which is the place where I put all the Store sets I can never find a use anywhere else! :D
Sim-October is also about the Bonnefoy sisters, and those parents who have to live with their children, since the closure of the boarding school… (yep, Tatiana but also Thorton).
As I moved all my Sims sites, except my “non-blog” to the same server, the Sims 2 site suffers too from excessive slowness and possible downtime, untill I fix the problem with the server. Thanks for your patience!
First: the site is back online! Yeah! But the problem isn’t solved (the site is incredibly slow for me, I hope it will load fine for you!), so it will probably go down again, while I try to fix the problem. I won’t touch anything during the week-end, though, so it should be safe for at least two days! ;)
A tiny update, then: PINBALLS, as a revenge for the little girl I was, who was fascinated by these machines but who hardly dared playing them, as they were always surrounded by terrifying teens! All in all, I have spent way much more time on Sierra pinballs games (I LOVED them, anyone remember?) than on the real object. :D
There’s one mesh and 5 variations.
I’ve been requested pretty many times to make tablets, and, because I’m grumpy and unfriendly, my usual answer was “well, I don’t think I’ll do, because that’s just too boring to draw…”. *rolleyes*
But then, I offered a tablet to a Sim of mine, and was bothered by the llama and the excessive shine of the object. So, I caved, and made a tablet. One? huh, nope, three. One is iPad inspired but without text (and with two kinds of recolorable apples, plus a version without any apple), another one is inspired by Kindle with keyboard, and one is more for kids, but it all depends on the colors you choose. It can look like other existing tablets (but i don’t know which trademark).
They’re, of course, fully functional and you can read, buy books online, play videogames, listen to stuff…
(woot, I’m on a roll with REPLIES today! ;D)
