WIP - The New Town City Hall (that will be redone 10 or 50 times before I’m satisfied with it… for now, the entrance doesn’t look like I want. :/)
The new town (based on my lovely friend Rachel’s world) will be like Sandy Valley: a mix of various french style that you would never see all together in one town in France. And yep, considering the size of the fountain, it’s going to be big. *chuckle*

About the The Eco-District - from WIP to RIP

There’s pictures of the buildings I kept and their current place at the end of that post.

The Eco-District - from WIP to RIP

  1. the high-school
  2. the eco-café
  3. the canal
  4. overview
  5. the market
  6. residences

I already spammed you quite often with pictures of the Eco-District in my town, but sadly, this district has been affected by my Anti-Crash Plan and will be discontinued, so I post pictures of how it was before I gave up the project. It was still not finished, actually.

I had planned to add an organic grocery near the market, with a library at its top, a tiny park for kids, and a community house where it would have been possible for the inhabitants of the district to have a coffee, to leave their kids while they were going shopping, to organize meetings and teen parties.

I’m not bulldozing everything, though, as I keep the highschool & eco-café (both on the same lot), and two houses. I moved them in another place of the town, and bulldozed everything else. The eco-market will take place some days on my regular market place. The canal is actually on the same lot as the high-school and eco-cafe, so currently, I still have it, but it looks a bit silly where it is now, so I might delete it.

I’m a bit sad to have to give up that district, but I’m building another town where I’ll be able to put tons of new buildings and districts (before making everything exploding again! ;D)

Reply about “Save as…”

marimidnight reblogged this from aroundthesims and added:

i thought that “save as” was harmful to the sims 3. or am i mixing that up with “save and quit”?

It’s indeed the “Save and Quit” that is said to be bad, as the game might not be able to have the time to write correctly its files while shutting down.

"Save as…" also allows me to keep tracks of my game at various states. For example, if a save turns corrupted, I can still use the previous one. I also keep a save each time I install a new EP, so I can still see how my game was before I installed Late Night, for example, or at the time Seasons was released. This has no interest, though, except entertaining me! ;D

Around the Sims 2 | Grocery items - simlish & english/french

FINALLY a Sims 2 update! Doh! I haven’t made any since Christmas! Well, here’s some of my Sims 3 grocery items remade for the Sims 2.

6 meshes and 82 recolorations. 82. And sometimes, I wonder why I don’t find enough time to play… ;D

Long babble about my game

I first wanted to answer your comments and concerns about my game, but it turned into a long babble about how I kept it rather healthy for so long (maybe there’s few tips that can be useful?), and the problems I’m meeting now.Replies to your lovely comments will follow in another post. That one was already WAY TOO LONG!
