Around the Sims 3 | Coastal Nursery… or else

Hello, fellows Sims 3 players! I hope I haven’t let you enough time to think  I had forgotten you!  ;)
Though I’m having a lot of fun with the Sims 4, much more than I expected, and that I’ve been creating way more clothes for children than my Sims 4 town has kids (if you’re curious, the Sims 4 site is there), I haven’t given up my Sims 3! :)

The update of the day could be called “Ode to Create-a-Style”! I wanted to remake my Sims 2 Beach House furniture for the Sims 3, still in the need for more nurseries, and while I was meshing it, I changed my mind. I didn’t want to use it as beach house furniture, after all, but with bold and fun colors… and BAM, Create-a-Style did the job. Once my furniture was all red, it made me want a music box shaped like a carousel (sadly, it’s not animated, but it’s still functional). Changing table is, of course, functional too.
I kept the original name of the set, Coastal Nursery! ;)

Around the Sims 3 | Urban objects
Before I disappear in a Sims 4 immersion for the week-end, here’s a small update for Sims 3, with more stuff I needed for my towns, like a new community trash (yes, I know, who cares about community trashes? How does it come that I have made already three other models? *chuckle*), balconies moving up & down on walls and with slots, so you can put TINY plants on, a decorative bike, just tiltin; construction fences (I don’t know how I can pretend building french towns without these! :p), underground lamp posts… Well, it’s again a bit a “This & That” update, but with a theme! ;)
I hope you’ll find something useful for your game! :)

Around the Sims 3 | Stuff for Summer Festivals

When I set up my game for the annual rock festival, I realized I was missing many things I needed:

1- I wanted a cheap looking barista bar, that you could decorate your way. I kept the sophisticated coffee machine, though, because it’s not because you can’t afford a super bar that you have to drink bad coffee, right? ;)
2- My students and I needed a cheap Late Night bar. I meshed that one from kegs and crates. It will also be perfect for student parties!
3- I also wanted to have a small and neutral stylist station (I wanted my Sims to be able to have cool make-up or dreads, for the festival). I ended up by not using it much in my game, but a small stylist station was still needed, according to me! :)
4- I needed sound equipments.
5- No summer festivals without a camping. I needed more contemporary tents! I cloned these ones from Wolrd Adventures, but they probably work too if you have only Island Paradise.

I hope you’ll enjoy!

Around the Sims 3 | Baby Carriers

More re-use of EA Store playmat with these baby carriers. I had already used the playmat as base for my baby “day beds”, but when I caught one of my Sims mother putting her baby on the floor while she was shopping at the market, I made her putting her baby on ones of my previous day beds, as she got one in her inventory, but thought it was silly as there was no handle. Ha. Sure, it’s not bothering for Sims who can have a car, and twenty books in their pockets, but still, it was annoying me.
So, I remeshed more "baby comfort" items, but with handles, still draggable into Sims inventory, so your Sims can put babies on at any time, anywhere.

Playmats keep babies happy. Too happy. They gain energy, hunger, bladder, fun… If you find them too cheaty, the Great Ani made a tiny mod to prevent this.

Warning!
The site might be down next week. For a couple of minutes if I’m lucky, for a couple of days if I’m not. I have to change of server again because I can’t pay for this one anymore.
In any case, the site will be back, dont worry! And if I’m smart enough to make this move smoothly, you shouldn’t even notice! :)
(remember you can still support the site here! ;))
Around the Sims 3 | Garage sale and more
Garage Sale

If your Sims have old stuff they want to get rid off, why not selling them to the neighbors by organizing a garage sale? All the objects you’ll place on the trestles, blanket or in the cardboard can be sold and bought, thanks to the EA Store Savvy Seller set (or Ani’s mod Savvier Seller). Also, what would be a garage sale without a garage? ;) This set also includes garage doors, dedicated to Dee chérie. Sadly, these can’t be opened (but honestly, I didn’t even know garage doors could be opened before working on these! :D)

Savvier Seller Stuff
I had already remade some of my previous objects (surfaces or cash registers) to be compatible with the EA Store Savvy Seller set. You can now download them to be directly compatible with Ani’s Savvier Seller mod. Only download these if you use Ani’s mod, of course (mod that I highly recommand you because it improves so much EA’s selling system!)
Updated: the Music Festival trestles
You might have noticed that I’ve been using trestles for my garage sale. I had already trestle tables in the Music Festival set, but two things had been annoying me: the direction of the wood wasn’t correct, and there was a tiny seam on the 2 and 3-tiles tables, because I was a bit clueless when I made these, 3 years ago. So, I redid them, and you can redownload them here. :)

Around the Sims 3 | More walkers for toddlers: vehicles

I had told you I fell in love with these walkers after having ignored them for months, huh? Well, after the animal ones, here’s now the vehicles (last set, don’t worry! ;)), with a car, a tricycle, and a tractor with a slot to take your toddler’s favorite toy for a walk. :)

I hope you’ll enjoy!

Around the Sims 3 | Toddler’s Walkers - Animals
I must say I wasn’t fan of the EA Store walker for toddler, at first… But now, I’m getting quite crazy about it. Here’s a first bunch of my interpration of the thing, but more are coming! ;)

Around the Sims 3 | Pierre Chareau’s objects

Pierre Chareau is a french architect and designer who lived during the first half of the twentieth century, mostly known for La Maison de Verre (you can watch a video about that house here). What can I say? I love his work. I love how everything he made looks industrial but very elegant, and how it’s made to be used and to be handy. As I’ve made so many IKEA stuff for my Sims though IKEA is in my budget, I thought I could also create a couple of Chareau’s objects, as I can be sure to never own any of them, so let’s allow our Sims to!

A tiny update with a new version of the Chocolate shop display (scroll to the end of the page) made to be compatible with the EA Store set Baker’s Bazaar.
Message me if you think I have forgotten to update anything for that Baker’s Bazaar! ;)

Around the Sims 3 | DIY Plants

When I meshed some pen pots on my previous updates (here and there), with spring knocking at my door, I felt like recycling those pots to put plants in, instead of pens & pencils. So I’ve used EA plants to create smaller plants for these pots.
I might create more pots, or more plants, or different size plants in the future. Feel free to create your own pots or plants if you’re an object creator! :)
