I’m Kate and this is how I look like (well, more or less…).

I’m Polish and like every Pole I love football and our national team… Even if they’re, let’s say it, not the best;)

But I’m also a sims-player since The Sims 2. However, I was never a crazy simmer so this site wouldn’t exist if not lovely Sandy (http://aroundthesims.tumblr.com/) who permanently inspires me in everything she does.

New friend in the Simblr community!

I begin to think that people who can cope with my Sims stories are meant to be my friends for life. *chuckle* Seriously, I’ve met most of my Simmer friends by their comments at my non-blog (Sara, Jen, Kim, Bilge, and so many more! <3). Kate is one of them, and she has just created her Simblr (after I harassed her a little bit! ;))

Welcome to SimSaraBim!

Finally, I’m ready to invite you inside my Sims blog.

It is still under construction, but there’s already a lot of content. Go check it out!

FINALLY!!!!! Kim and I have been bugging Sara to make a site for her Simmies for months. MONTHS! And finally, here it is!! And you know what? It was worth the wait! Such a lovely site, such great lots to visit and Simmies to meet! <3 I’m biaised, but I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOO happy!!! :))))

SCU: The St. Claire University Project

Well, as I’ve decided I’m probably going to make the move to Sims 4 (based on no screenshots or information, heh) I’ve abandoned the world I’m never going to finish and have decided for once to just play, using the beautiful St. Claire by Awesims. However, I will be editing and customising as I play and the first project I’ll be tackling will be a base hood University, which will be playable using Twallan’s mods. This is an absolute necessity for any town I’m playing, as sending Sims to a sub-hood does not suit my multi-family style of play.

I intend to use as little CC as possible (if any at all) so that I can share the lots as I progress. The Uni is designed to fit the section of St. Claire crudely circled above, but you can put it anywhere or in whatever neighbourhood you like, provided you have appropriate lot sizes.

These are the lots I have planned:

(custom buildings using rabbithole rugs and probably multi-functional lots)

YAY!! The triplet circle is complete - Kim has officially joined tumblr and posted (absolutely stunning, might I add!) pictures of the fantastic Honeycomb Valley!! 

That last one - is it in the Bumblebee Quarter? It fits so perfectly with the one I built you!

So, Sara, Kim and I play the Sims the same style (ie with a huge town, with a lot of Sims, with a slow aging), and we’ve been surnamed the Triplets at The Sims Daily forum, as we seem to share a brain (that I left them most of the time! *chuckle*)

We also share our Sims for some events in our towns, or school exchange, or just for a week-end of holidays. For example, a couple from Sara’s Sims and one from Kim’s have assisted to the dance festival in my town. :)

Anyway…

The first item up for download is this stunning bed. I asked Sandy if she could possibly make me a bed without a headboard as I love putting beds under windows, and headboards often chop into curtains and window frames and just generally annoy me. Sandy was able to comply with breathtakingly beautiful results. Incredibly, the bottom sheets and the pillows and the cover and the frame are all separately recolorable!!!!! This is Sandy explaining (in that delicious French accent) how she achieved such an incredible feat:

“Beds are often 4-channels, but most of the time, 2 channels are used for the bed frame, but as your bed didn’t get any headboard, one channel was enough. I could have used two, but it was better to have 3 for the sheets and pillows, wasn’t it?”

Hello everyone!

Since this is my first post, I thought I might introduce myself. I’m Sophie, a sims-lover from Turkey –actually my name is Bilge, I don’t think that you’ll find a lot of Sophie in Turkey. I’ve been using this nickname for myself since I was sixteen, because “sophie/sophia” is the Latin word for the Turkish word “bilge”, meaning a wise person. Not that I’m wise, but I’m an engineer if that counts. I’m currently a grad student though. Anyway, you can call me either Sophie or Bilge, I’m fine with both.

I’ve been in love with those little sims’ world since The Sims came out, I’m still simming when I find some free time. I’m very busy with my studies, so I can’t say that I find that time often.
